  Mr. Thomas Rowland - Board Chair  
Thomas Rowland is a third generation, committed resident of Howard Beach. Tom's education began in the then local Parish grammar school of Our Lady of Grace, and is a graduate of St. Francis Prep and St Francis College where he was a member of the Student Government, received Honors, and was deeply influenced by the Franciscan educational culture. His career began on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch & Co. to be followed by a more rewarding career in Union Activism and the fight for worker rights and protections. Presently, Tom serves as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Amalgamated Workers Union, Local 88, of the Retail Wholesale Department Workers Union and the 1.4 million member United Food and Commercial Workers. An avid Giants football fan and a questionable golfer, his activities include membership in the Knights of Columbus, Long Island Council 197, Chair of the Ave Maria Catholic Academy Board of Directors and is an active member of the OLG Parish. Tom is blessed with a large extended family in the community, a tight knit circle of friends, and is most importantly supported by his wife, Nancy and daughter, Nicole.
  Dr. Thomas Chadzutko, Ed.D. - Board Member  
Dr. Thomas Chadzutko, Ed.D. is the diocesan superintendent of schools.
  Paul M. Beaudin, BA, MSEd, PD. - Board Member  
Paul M. Beaudin, BA, MSEd, PD. is an Assistant Professor of Education, Director of Graduate Studies and Assistant Department Chair at Iona College. Mr. Beaudin, holds degrees from Iona College and Fordham University in both education and school administration. Mr. Beaudin has served as a teacher, school principal, and superintendent. His areas of interest are content literacy, curriculum, mathematics education, building learning communities, private school finance and development, and supervision of instruction. Mr. Beaudin has presented on these topics throughout the United States and is a frequent staff developer for new teachers and building leaders.
  Breeda Connolly - Board Member  
Breeda Connolly received her undergraduate degree in History/Education from Molloy College and her Masters from C.W. Post in Elementary Education. She taught at Our Lady of Grace for 9 years before taking a position at Fontbonne Hall Academy in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Ms. Connolly currently teaches Global History and Geography to freshman, U.S. History to juniors and Advanced Placement U.S. History to an honors class. In 2007, she was named to the Principle's Advisory Committee by her colleagues, and is responsible for acting as a liaison between the faculty and administration. Ms. Connolly is an active member of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Howard Beach.
